Hey, Watertown! Looking for something to do this month? It's October, which means lots of fall family-fun activities to take advantage of! Here are just a few of our favorites. On your way, stop by one of our Quicklee's locations on Rte 342 or Coffeen St, say hi to the store manager Melissa, and grab some snacks for the road!

Remington Haunting: A Family Event - Oct. 18th and 19th

This evening event takes place at the Frederic Remington Art Museum and is only $5! The museum’s historic house of 1810, the Parish Mansion, has been rumored to be inhibited by the ghost of Madame America Vespucci. Ghosts and apparitions will take over the museum for two nights of scary adventure and family fun. There will be a heart-stopping ghost tour through the museum and a scaredy cat walk on the main floor for the little ones. For more information, click here.

Boo at the Zoo - Oct. 19th and 26th

The New York State Zoo at Thompson Park is a safe place to take your little ones trick or treating! Walk around the zoo, gather candy, and celebrate Halloween in style! Admission includes a full schedule of events, including Zumbini, a Martial Arts class, crafts, a spooky hayride, and more! Don’t forget to stop by our Quicklee’s on Rte 342 for a refreshing drink to wash down the candy! For more information and tickets, click here.

Fall Craft Fair - Oct. 26th

Check out this free craft fair hosted by the Northpole Ladies Auxillary at the Northpole Fire Hall! With over 100 tables of beautiful items made by local crafters, you’ll be able to get some early holiday shopping checked off your list AND support the local economy. 2019 Scarecrow Scuttle - Oct. 26th

The Scarecrow Scuttle is a 5K fun run/walk held at Old McDonald’s Farm. There will be prizes for best costume, free farm passes for participants 12 & under, and a light lunch and goody bag for all participants! Swing by our Coffeen location when you head back home for a refreshing drink and snack after the run! For more information, click here.

Watertown Mayor's Charity Ball - Nov. 9th

The Mayors Ball, hosted at Hilton Garden Inn, is a tradition that was first conceived by Tom and Mabel Walker in 1984, with the intent to bring additional revenue to non-profits providing services to residents of the City of Watertown. The ball includes live music, cocktails, and dinner. All proceeds will go to local nonprofits, including the Walker Center for Cancer Care.
